    Got the truck back yesterday. They rebuilt the entire transmission. It essentially blew up inside. They showed me all the internal parts and there was a lot of damage. Something went horribly wrong and there were pieces of metal everywhere that chewed everything up. They had to use more parts than what comes in a normal rebuild kit but they sold them too me at cost. After all was said and I done it was $2,700 and I have a 2 year warranty.

    Thank you for the quick and informative reply! The truck was towed to a shop yesterday and they are going to diagnose it but I’m pretty sure the transmission is going to be replaced or rebuilt depending on whether they have a rebuilt on the shelf already or not. They quoted about $2,300 for either option.
