Designed to replace the AX 15 transmission, the NV3550 transmission (new venture gear) 5-speed manual transmission is a top shifting gearbox with a Chrysler Corp. 6-bolt mount for a driver’s side drop transfer case. This fully synchronized (except reverse) manual transmission has helically cut gears, direct drive fourth gear, an overdrive fifth gear, a 10 spline input shaft and a 23 spline output shaft which is compatible with a number of transfer cases, including the NP231 and NP241OR.
